MEET DAVID
Adopted from an orphanage at the age of two, David enjoyed a childhood filled with faith, family and lots of music. A high school and college athlete, he labored in a brick mill to pay for his education. David earned an electrical engineering degree from Carnegie Mellon and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. These early experiences laid the foundation for his passion to be a man of The People, valuing diligence, integrity and compassion.
David then began a 35-year business career in engineering, manufacturing and construction. He credits his education and these broad experiences with making him a problem solver, one who can better define problems and develop better solutions. Alongside his many achievements, life has thrown significant curveballs his way, including the devastating heartache of a son with mental illness. Managing professional and personal challenges, the trials and tribulations of his journey, he says, have made him wiser, stronger in his faith, and more courageous.

As a resident of North Carolina for more than 35 years, I have witnessed the erosion of our individual and corporate freedoms. As YOUR state Senator, I will put common sense and constitutional protections at the forefront of every decision and vote.
